A Gift Guide to all things cosy

I was scrolling Pinterest, as I do on a daily basis, and this image just spoke to me. Being an Interior Designer, I love all sorts of different colour schemes and Interior styles but recently, more often than not, I am drawn to calm and clear neutral looking interiors. To me this can only be because of the mayhem that this year had become, and the constant stresses we have all been feeling. Clearly our brains can’t handle much more so I’m sharing this image with you……….hoping it will bring you inner calm too!

My first outing to the shops again after lockdown no.2, was last week and of course I had some @Zara returns to do. As we all know of course, this means…..return something…….replace it with something else……….I’d already spent the money right?! This Jumper was just TOO SOFT to leave and I’ve already sold it to my mum and 3 friends! You just can’t beat a good, white, soft jumper.

A cosy session just isn’t complete without a @diptyque Baies candle.

One of the best Christmas stocking fillers has to be “The White Company’s cashmere socks” Thank me later…….

5

The perfect faux shearling slippers/mules. I spotted these a little while ago on my fashion spying frenzy and just felt they perfected this cosy capsule edit.

6

Since we have all spent most of the year indoors, Fashion is more about what to wear inside rather than outside, and really can a girl have too many cosy cotton joggers?

If powerful Women Bosses inspire you like they do me then this book is the one for you! Before I started my own business at the end of last year I read this book and honestly it was so empowering and relatable and just made me think…….I can totally do this!!! It’s funny, realistic and well written and perhaps I would not be here today, running my own company if I hadn’t picked up this book and processed her journey! Book number 2 is great as well.

Definitely something on my Christmas Wishlist this year is this gorgeous wool blend fringed blanket from @zara. The colours are just to die for and compliment a cosy night in just perfectly.

9

A constant source of Interior inspiration as always from @sohohome. I am often on their website looking for Interior goodies and have purchased many items from them for my clients over the last year. They really do know their stuff when it comes to a good, stylish cushion. This Clayton textured combo was too much to not share.
