The Home Edit: Cushion Fever

Cushion Fever is finally here! Probably my most asked question as an Interior Designer is “where do you get your cushions from!?” I must admit I do LOVE a cushion and really, I love having a good old search to see what newness is out there and what cushion trend is yet to be discovered! Here’s a few good ones I’ve got my eye on at the moment.

1

First off with this stunning ochre colour and SUPER affordable cushion from @h&mhome. Not all cushions have to be expensive and are an affordable, great way to re-vamp one’s living room by switching up cushions!

2

This one is on the slightly more pricey side but it’s just so pretty @sohohome.

3

You’ve got to love a cool bolster cushion! These babies are on the up, and a lovely addition to a beautifully made bed, with two other square cushions along side.

4

I fell in love with this striking blue colour, and even more in love with the bargain price! @h&mhome.

5

This beauty is amongst the more traditional vibes, but I love pairing the old with the new so definitely one for the cushion library!

6

A deep textured cushion scattered among lots of other styles really adds some depth and variety to your scheme. This one is another fave for the library!

7

Ahhh number 7, the happy cushion. I love the colours in this one, they blend beautifully together and can lift up the vibe of any room. I also love a long cushion like this across the top of a bed! This is @anthropologie at it’s best.

8

New season @oka have just released some very cool, coloured cushion prints. Blink and you’ll miss them!

9

Power-loomed to resemble traditional carpets and upholstery, this pillow lends a timeless, bohemian-inflected touch to your space. Another @anthropologie winner.

10

Another of @oka ‘s new cushion collection takes inspiration from the abstract patterns found in nature and the ornamental endpapers you would expect to see in antique novels, encyclopaedias and history books. Printed and made in the UK, the cushions are finished in tones evocative of the natural world, such as rich greens and blues. The designs, made from 100% linen, are offset with bold cotton trims. Just love them!

I hope this helps all you budding designers in lockdown who are looking to jazz up a sofa or, give a new lease of life to your bedroom!
