The Home Edit: Occasional Chairs
Interior designing your home can be a very overwhelming concept. People usually have no idea where to begin, not to mention your huge interior dreams costing you a fortune! If you are one of these people, currently sitting in your living room in lockdown, and thinking “urgh god!….. I just want to re-decorate this room”……. then here’s a thought! A little pop of colour or variation in the corner of a room might just be the answer without necessarily costing you a fortune!
Instead of re-doing your entire living room because, let’s face it, times are tough, why not just replace or add a little something to perk things up a bit?! It could be something as simple as adding an occasional chair.

The Wish Chair, designed in 1949 by Danish designer Hans Wegner, was originally inspired by classical portraits of Danish merchants sitting on Chinese Ming chairs. It became one of the most iconic Danish furniture designs of the 20th Century. It oozes Scandinavian chic.

This has to be my no.1 occasional chair at the moment. I’m eyeing it up for my dream house. This one isn’t on the cheaper budget list unfortunately, however this bubble shape is made for ultimate comfort….plus it swivels!!!

Nothing like a simple, rustic Rattan chair to add all the “feels” to your calming corner. This cutie is from @zarahome.

I thought I’d throw in another Wishbone chair in a more rustic colour wood for those shabby chic lovers.

The ultimate comfort corner made perfect by this gorgeous @sohohome chair covered in this stunning navy velvet. This deep set chair is perfect for your little reading nook.

This simple, metal & leather lounge chair from @h&mhome is very cool and simply stylish for the minimalist lovers out there.

Just incase people are as obsessed with the bubble chair as I am, here is a slightly more affordable one for you all. Equally as lovely and stylish.

Another ultimate favorite of mine! I envisage these chairs as dining chairs in my dream dining room. Very expensive but also very pretty!
