Interior Talk: Table Lamps

As I sit here searching the web for some 2021 inspiration, I always seem to fall into a black hole of Interior must haves and “what would I put in my dream house”! I thought therefore it might be helpful if I shared some interior “go to’s”! ……..This week I’m obsessing over Table lamps.

Following my neutral trend palette, all these lamps are very much in keeping with that, but all add an element of texture and depth to them.

The mixtures of crystal, ceramic, marble etc., all add such a simple yet effective touch of glamour to each neutral lamp, therefore making sure not to be too boring a lamp, and go unnoticed. Lamps can either blend into a room or stand out, and for me, I always love it when they stand out but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to have a bold colour to do this. Case in point below.

Crafted from solid Travertine, which has natural colour variations, this lamp is entirely one of a kind. Finished off beautifully with a linen shade and brass rim detailing.

2

Handcrafted from earthenware, the Alina Lamp has a sculptural silhouette with a glaze which speckles brown on a cream base…finished off with an elegant white linen shade.

3

Probably my favourite Lamp of all time, this large Andrew Martin, matte white table lamp decorated with white bobbles is just the coolest addition to a living room scheme. Crafted by the iconic designer Kelly Wearstler, this Lamp adds a bit of fun to any room!

4

I purchased this gorgeous lamp for a client of mine earlier this year and it really is so spectacular. The shell details on the stand are so well done, and add a very exotic, shabby chic feel to a room.

5

This beautifully decorative Lamp is made from natural quartz with antique gold leaf detailing, finished off with a straight linen shade. What an elegant piece, fit for any ladies dressing room!

6

This earthenware Esme lamp is formed by hand on a potter's wheel, pressed with an alternating triangle design and finished with a glossy grey glaze, and topped with a crisp drum shade. I love the texture of the base of this Lamp, and just had to add it to the list.

7

Another absolute favourite of mine is this super cool table lamp with zig zag outline and antique brass fittings is just divine, topped off with a crisp linen shade. These I have earmarked for the dream bedroom in the dream house I mentioned earlier!

8

This lamp offers such a statement with its shape and texture. It beautifully combines traditional with modern, and is sure to catch the eye of any house guest….not that we’re allowed any of those for a while!

9

Saving one of the best till last, this very cool lamp oozes chic with its elegant wood effect base, topped with a natural paper shade, bringing a sense of rustic charm to any room.

Hoping this comes in handy mes amiés! Happy Shopping and wishing all your Interior Dreams comes true in the New Year!
